The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which is known for the Amul brand, has announced an increase in the prices of Amul sachet milk by Rs 3 per liter across all variants from Friday.
“We would like to inform you that the price of Amul sachet milk (all variants) has been revised upwards w.e.f. Night dispatch on February 2, 2023 (February 3, 2023 morning),” GMCCF said in a statement. With the hike, Amul Gold will be priced at Rs 66 per litre, Amul Taaza at Rs 54 per litre, Amul cow milk at Rs 56 per liter and Amul A2 buffalo milk at Rs 70 per litre.
Earlier in October, the GCMMF had raised the prices of its Gold, Taaza and Shakti milk brands by Rs 2 per liter in all markets except Gujarat. The price of Amul Gold has been increased from Rs 61 per liter to Rs 63 per litre, while a 500 ml pack costs Rs 32 against Rs 31 earlier. Buffalo milk prices have been increased from Rs 63 per liter to Rs 65 per litre.
After Amul, Mother Dairy too hiked the prices of whole milk and cow's milk by Rs 2 per liter across Delhi-NCR, citing rising input prices.
